PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize on the side of a copy operator that there is a copy inhibited page in a read original when there is the copy inhibited page in the read original. SOLUTION: An image read means 9 reads the original and generates image data, and a storage means 11 stores the generated image data. A pattern information detection means 13 detects whether or not there is pattern information indicating the copy inhibited page in the stored image data. An image data conversion means 15 converts the image data relating to the copy inhibited page to blank image data. When the presence of the pattern information is detected, a report preparation means 17 prepares a report relating to the read copy inhibited page. A printing means 19 prints at least the image data.
