PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate variation in resistance of a resistor layer formed at the terminal electrode and to control the resistance to an arbitrary value. SOLUTION: An Ni layer 32 and a Cr layer 33 are formed to touch each other by wet plating method and heat treated in non-oxidizing atmosphere so that Ni and Cr are diffused mutually and alloyed on the interface of the Ni layer 32 and the Cr layer 33 thus forming an NiCr alloying layer 34. The NiCr alloying layer 34 functions as a resistor layer in the terminal electrode 3 to increase the equivalent series resistance (ESR) of a CR composite component 1, for example.
