PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position display device of a moving body capable of smoothly moving an indicator even when an exclusive control part for generating a pulse for driving the indicator in averaged timing is not provided. SOLUTION: The position display device 1 of the moving body for displaying a position of the moving body 2 by a position indicated by the indicator 11 is provided with a filter means 21 for generating a position signal by performing a first-order lag operation of position pulse data regarding the input position of the moving body, an indicator driving signal generation means 22 for sequentially taking in the position signal and generating an indicator driving signal in correspondence with movement of the moving body, and a driving means 26 for controlling a motor 17 moving the indicator based on the indicator driving signal.
