PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacker crane capable of improving the efficiency of storage in an automated warehouse. SOLUTION: Supports 11, 11 are attached to both front and rear ends in the traveling direction the stacker crane 4 to form a gate-shaped mast 10. An elevating base 12 having a two-frontage width in a rack 6 is provided at the mast 10 to move a base 14 of a slide fork 16 forward and backward in the traveling direction with respect to the elevating base 12.
