PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a lower arm and an inter-electrode line block, and make water containing abrasive materials and abrasive particles for a water-jet processing enter the lower arm and a sealing device. SOLUTION: This composite machining device can do a water-jet processing and a wire cut discharge processing. A processing tank 1 is commonly used for the water-jet processing and the wire cut discharge processing. A shutter 3 is provided in the processing tank 1. The shutter 3 move upward and downward. The shutter 3 divides the processing tank 1, and forms an accommodation space 4 in the processing tank 1. A lower arm 5 supports a lower guide assembly 8. The lower arm 5 moves forward and backward between a processing portion 9 and the accommodation space 4 divided by the shutter 3. The lower arm 5 moves backward into the accommodation space 4 at the time of water-jet processing. The lower arm 5 moves forward to the processing portion 9 at the time of wire cut discharge processing, and moves in an X-axis direction and a Y-axis direction by a linear motor.
