PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary tiller set as integrally rotatable in normal direction and reverse direction in right and left both side of a rotary tilling shaft, simplifying configuration and tilling the field into a flat shape in normal rotation and tilling the field to form a ridge in reverse rotation. SOLUTION: The rotary tiller is provided with a right and left tilling shafts 32, 32 switchable as normal rotation or reverse rotation at the lower part of a tilling transmission case 4, and tilling tines 34 mounted on the tilling shafts 32, 32 with curved tips set to face right and left out sides. The tilling tines 34 are mounted to have inclination angles so that the position driving the tine into the soil in the downstream side edge parts locate inside of the right and left position to a position driving the tine into the soil on the upstream side edge in the rotation in tilling with normal rotation, and mounted on the right and left tilling shafts 32, 32, and the tilling tines 34 on both right and left inside are structured to have a larger inclination angle than the inclination angle of the tilling tines 34 on the outside of both right and left side tilling tines 34.
