PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling mushroom bed culture medium enabling easy and inexpensive recycle of used mushroom bed culture medium so as to effectively utilize waste culture medium and thereby contribute to solution of environmental problems. SOLUTION: The method for recycling mushroom bed culture medium comprises soaking the waste culture medium composed of the used mushroom bed culture medium in water or exposing the waste culture medium to steam for a required time, adjusting the water content in the waste culture medium and adding additional nutrients to the waste culture medium, and stirring the mixture to obtain recycled culture medium. Waste water obtained when taking out the waste culture medium through soaking the waste culture medium in water or exposing the waste culture medium to steam is utilized as liquid fertilizer.
