A liquid crystal display device is provided to expand a width of contact members in a misaligned direction and to connect a repair pad with a repair lead electrically, thereby reducing signal delay of repair lines and transmitting the repair signal smoothly. A liquid crystal display device comprises an insulating substrate, data pads(133), repair pads(134), protective films, and contact members. The insulating substrate includes display and non-display regions. The data pads are placed on the non-display regions. The repair pads are placed at the sides of the data pads. The protective films are formed on the repair pads. The contact members are formed on contact parts of the protective films. The width of the contact members sequentially gets larger in a direction in which the data pads are placed as the data pads are farther from the members. Data leads are connected with the data pads. Flexible members have left and right regions facing each other. Thereby, misalignment of a repair lead and a repair pad is reduced. |
