A method for providing information is provided to improve customer satisfaction by preventing demerit caused by a deterred payment ratio and service stop, as insufficient balance information is provided to a customer when the balance of a customer payment account is smaller than an amount billed to the customer. An information receiver collects information of amounts to be billed to a customer(500), and an information checker checks whether the collected billed amount can be paid with the balance of a customer payment account by comparing the balance of the payment account with the amount billed to the customer(512). An information generator generates insufficient balance information when the balance of the payment account is smaller than the billed amount. An information transmitter transmits the insufficient account information to a communication tool of the customer(514). The information checker checks again the payment account on or before a payment day(520). The insufficient balance information is informed to a secondary customer or a secondary communication tool of the customer when the balance of the payment account is insufficient to pay the billed amount. |
