The device comprises a flow conduit 10 and an air flow interruption means 14 which may be a rotary valve. The device has means to vary the frequency of the interruption of the air flow whilst the device is in use. The valve may be driven by a motor and a control system may change the speed of rotation of the motor. The control system may incorporate a random number generator. The device may comprise a plurality of valves in series or parallel. The device may comprise data monitoring and data gathering sensors to measure the pressure, flow rate or adjustments in the rate of interruption. |
