MICROPHONE MODULE AND MOUNTING STRUCTURE ADAPTED TO PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE

A microphone module and a mounting structure adapted to a portable electronic device are provided to increase the degree of freedom in installing of a microphone module to be installed at a mounting part of a circuit plate combined to an electronic apparatus. A microphone module(1) includes housing(41) having a hollow cavity and a sound hole(25). The hollow cavity is communicated with an exterior through the sound hole. A microphone chip(15) is arranged in an inner portion of the hollow cavity to detect a sound. A plurality of outer connection terminals(21) are electrically connected the microphone chip. A plurality of extending units(43) are horizontally extended from both ends of the housing to a direction in perpendicular to an opened direction of an open the sound hole. The outer connection terminals are elongated to a surface or a rear side of the extending unit. The housing is partly protruded from the surface of the extending unit.
