A method and a system for relaying foreign currency remittance and a program recording medium thereof are provided to enable a customer to remit foreign currency conveniently without inputting foreign currency remittance information by reading the foreign currency remittance information from a dedicated IC card storing the foreign currency remittance information of the customer with an IC card reader. An information storing part stores foreign currency remittance information, which includes a foreign currency remittance class, a foreign currency code, remittance amount, fee payer information, a local/country code, a bank number/name, and so on, to a storage medium by linking with customer information. An information receiver receives a first foreign currency remittance request message generated/transmitted from a terminal(100). An information checker checks the sender/receiver information included in the message, and checks the foreign currency remittance information corresponding to the checked information by linking with the storage medium. A message generator generates a second foreign currency remittance request message by using the checked information, and a message transmitter transmits the second message to a financial company server. |
