An apparatus for disposing food waste is provided to decompose food waste by increasing temperature of food waste by smoothly activating microorganisms and actively degrading food waste. An apparatus(10) for disposing food waste comprises: a housing(100) including an injection port(110) into which food waste and microorganisms are injected, a disposal chamber(120) in which crushing, agitation and drying of food waste are carried out, a drying chamber(130) in which the drying part is installed, a drive chamber(140) in which drive motors of the crushing part and the agitation part, and the control part are installed, and a drain port(150) for discharging water of food waste to the outside; a crushing part(200) including a crushing port fixated to the lower part of the injection port, and a crushing blade(220) rotated by a crushing motor(230) to crush the injected food waste; an agitation part(300) including an agitation shaft(310) which is rotatably connected to an agitation motor(330), and in which a hollow part(311) is formed, and a spiral agitation vane(320) joined with an outer periphery of the agitation shaft to agitate crushed food waste and microorganisms; a drying part(400) which has a blower(410) and a heater(420) to supply hot air into the disposal chamber, and in which a channel(430) connected to the agitation shaft is formed to dry food waste by supplying hot air into the hollow part; a control part(500) for controlling operations of the crushing part, the agitation part, and the drying part; and a drain part(600) including a perforated plate(610) which is installed under the agitation part, and in which a plurality of drain holes(611) are formed to discharge water of food waste to the drain port. |
