SYSTEM FOR OFFERING A SERIVE IN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND OFFER METHOD THEREOF

A system and a method for providing an additional information service are provided to enable a user to inquire contents goods corresponding to additional information selected through a mobile terminal during or after playback of multimedia contents by selecting a key of the mobile terminal. A mobile terminal(100) generates a time information clock signal. A contents server(200) provides multimedia contents, and an ID or metadata of the multimedia contents to the mobile terminal and an additional information service server(300). The additional information service server generates/stores the additional information corresponding to multimedia data formed in the multimedia contents by receiving the multimedia contents, and generates matched additional information by comparing the additional information with the time information clock signal. The mobile terminal receives the matched additional information and inquires contents goods details recorded in the matched additional information. The additional information service server includes an additional information database(312) storing the additional information generated and received from an additional information input part(320), and an additional information assigner(311).
