An apparatus for attaching a disk to a spindle of a spinstand, a method for attaching/detaching a disk to/from the spindle of a spinstand, and a movable stage are provided to execute attachment or detachment of a disc precisely by forming a drawbar for forcing a cap and a spindle adapter. An apparatus for attaching a disk to a spindle of a spinstand comprises a spindle adapter(40) attached to a spindle, and a cap(60). The spindle adapter has a drawbar(41) which is movable therein, and a matching surface registered to the matching surface of the cap. The drawbar, which is installed to maintain a disc between the cap and the spindle adapter, has an end of a connection part to be reversibly connected to the cap and a piston(44) connected to a fluid pressure source. The drawbar is movable in response to the fluid pressure applied to the piston for forcing the cap and the spindle adapter. The cap has a datum surface registered to the surface of the disc.
