A transmission of a hybrid electric vehicle is provided to improve fuel efficiency of a vehicle by simplifying a decelerator using a clutch and a brake. A transmission of a hybrid electric vehicle includes a decelerator(500), a motor(400), a brake(B), and a clutch(C). One of elements in the decelerator is connected to an output shaft, which is elongated from a ring gear of a power synthesizer. The motor is connected to one element of the decelerator. The brake locks up or releases one element of the decelerator. The clutch couples two elements of the decelerator with each other or releases the two elements of the decelerator from each other. The decelerator is a single pinion type planetary gear. The element of the decelerator is a carrier.
