<p>A small and bright light-emitting device, comprising an outer boundary lens surface and at least one LED, is achieved by carefully choosing the inclination of each surface portion of the outer lens surface with respect to the chip size of the light source. The inclination of the surface portions are chosen such that the lens provides an optimal weighing between size and light efficiency.</p>
