A data broadcasting signal, a method for processing the data broadcasting signal, a receiver data broadcasting signal, and a method for processing the receiver data broadcasting signal, and an apparatus for receiving the receiver data broadcasting signal are provided to enable a data broadcasting providing party to order collectively an exceptional state processing scheme for an exceptional state which can be generated during data broadcasting irrespective of the environment of a receiver. A method for processing a data broadcasting signal comprises the following steps of: receiving the data broadcasting signal including an application information table and a data broadcasting application(S11); acquiring exceptional state processing information at the application information table(S12); and processing the exceptional state of application on the basis of the exceptional state processing information of the acquired application(S13).
