An electronic control brake system is provided to allow a micro computer to determine information of hardware version in an application specific integrated circuit(ASIC) such that a system error due to version inconsistency between a hardware and a software of ASIC is prevented in advance. An electronic control brake system comprise an electric control unit(10) conducting general controls, a warning output section(20) outputting warning version inconsistency between a hardware and a software of ASIC, and an actuator(30) adjusting brake force of each wheels. The ECU includes a micro computer(11) and an ASIC(12) communicated with SPI. The ASIC includes a control logic(12a) and a resister section(12b) in a vehicle body, and serves to drive the actuator. The control logic drives the actuator according to an external signal. The resister section stores the information of hardware version in the ASIC. The micro computer includes a version comparing section(11a) which compares the hardware of the ASIC with the software thereof. |
