A system for providing information is provided to generate and transmit insufficient balance information of a payment account to a communication tool of a customer by collecting billed amount information of the customer, checking whether balance of the payment account of the customer is smaller than a billed amount, and depending on a checking result. An information collector(345) collects information for an amount billed to a customer. An information checker(330) checks whether or not the billed amount is paid with balance of a payment account of the customer by checking the balance of the payment account. An information generator generates insufficient balance information including payment day, total billed amount, and insufficient amount information when the balance is insufficient. An information transmitter(320) transmits the generated insufficient balance information to a communication tool of the customer. A secondary notifier notifies a secondary customer or a secondary communication tool of the insufficient balance information when the transmitted insufficient balance information is not confirmed by the customer on or before a payment day. |
