<p>The Injector (1) has an injector body (2), in which a jet needle (5) is supported in a needle section (4) for controlling an injection of fuel through an injection hole (6). A hollow piston (7) is supported in an actuator section (3), which is axially bounded by the front side of an annular coupling space (8). A rod-shaped piezo actuator (9) is coaxially arranged in the piston for controlling the pressure in coupling space, which is supported on the one side and on a base (10) of the piston on another side. A control chamber (13) is bounded by a control surface of the jet needle.</p> |
