摘要 A terminal device, a control method thereof, and a recording medium are provided to improve signal reception efficiency of a satellite signal by synchronizing the terminal device with the satellite signal, even when an actual received frequency is different from a search frequency. A terminal device(20) includes a controller(100), a GPS(Global Positional System) unit(102), and a sensor(104). The terminal device stores a navigation message(152) on a second memory(150). The navigation message includes an Almanac(152a) representing a coarse orbit of a GPS satellite and an Ephemeris(152b) indicating a fine orbit of the GPS satellite. The terminal stores initial position information, which is used to calculate a position of the GPS satellite, on the second memory. The controller refers to the Almanac and determines the GPS satellite, which is measured by the sensor, at a current timing. When the controller detects a signal from the GPS satellite, the controller tracks the received signal. The controller correlates a received C/A(Coarse/Acquisition) code received from the terminal device with a replica C/A code generated inside the terminal device.
