<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a log amplifier in which the number of parts is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The log amplifier is provided with a first coupler 6a connected to a first RF amplifier 4, a first detection diode 8 connected to a coupling terminal 6b of the first coupler 6a, a first log video amplifier 10 connected to the first detection diode 8, a second RF amplifier 5 connected to a passing terminal 6c of the first coupler 6a, a second coupler 7a connected to the second RF amplifier 5, a second detection diode 9 connected to a coupling terminal 7b of the second coupler 7a, a second log video amplifier 11 connected to the second detection diode 9, and an adder 12 for adding video signals outputted from the first and second log video amplifiers 10 and 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
