A data driver and a liquid crystal display device having the same are provided to improve image quality of the display device by applying a ripple-free driving voltage to the data driver. A data driver for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a voltage stabilizing circuit(510) and a driving circuit. The voltage stabilizing circuit includes an inverter, a subtracter circuit, and an adder circuit. The inverter inverts a first driving voltage from the outside and outputs an inverted driving voltage. The subtracter circuit receives the first driving voltage and the inverted driving voltage, amplifies a difference between the first driving voltage and the inverted driving voltage, and outputs an operation signal. The adder circuit receives the operation signal and the first driving voltage, adds the operation signal to the first driving signal, and outputs a ripple-free second driving voltage. The driving circuit receives the second driving voltage, converts external image data to an analog data voltage, selects a polarity of the analog data voltage, and applies the selected result to a data line of an LCD panel.
