Method for arranging a mineral seal on a landfill and method for inserting a combination seal for sealing a landfill

Claimed is a seal made of compacted minerals for closure of a landfill refuse site. The seal consists of granular mineral particles deposited in swathes of width defined by pre-positioned parallel template board. The mineral surface is then graded to a defined depth by a grading assembly that moves on tracks defined by the template boards. The graded mineral is then compacted by a prior art compacting assembly.
