An apparatus of cutting off engine noise is provided to effectively prevent engine noise from being transferred by cutting off noise in a variable manner depending on a level of combustion noise of the engine. An apparatus of cutting off engine noise comprises a cutoff member(11), a sound pressure sensor(21), and a driving member(31). The cutoff member is installed inside an intake duct(1) to cut off combustion noise transferred from an engine. The sound pressure sensor is installed in the intake duct to generate variable current depending on a level of combustion noise. The driving member operates the cutoff member corresponding to a level of output current. The driving member includes a controller(41), a driving motor(32) and a rack gear(33).
