An optical module, a backlight assembly having the same, and a display device having the backlight assembly are provided to combine first and second fixing parts at a receiving container and to fix a body at the receiving container without fixing members to reduce components, thereby enabling production cost to be reduced. An optical module(100) comprises a plate shaped body(10), fixing portions(20), and a protrusion portion(30). The body has a light incidence surface and a light exiting surface. The fixing portions are formed at sides(12) facing each other. The protrusion portion is protruded along the edge of the light exiting surface of the body to form a receiving part on the light exiting surface. The sides include first and second side surfaces(12a,12b). The fixing members include first and second fixing parts(22,24). The fixing parts are protruded from the sides. Thereby, the number of parts is reduced. |
