A method for controlling a kimchi storage is provided to allow the refrigerant flowing to a first storage room to flow to a second storage room, thereby lowering the temperature of the second storage room. A method for controlling a kimchi storage comprises the steps of: (i) controlling a selection mode; (ii) operating a compressor according to the selection mode selected in the step (i) to supply a refrigerant to a first storage room from the compressor; (iii) firstly sensing the temperature of the first storage room; (iv) closing a refrigerant flow path of the first storage room if the temperature reaches a set temperature(T1) selected in the step (i), or supplying the refrigerant further if the temperature is above the T1; (v) stopping the operation of the compressor if the refrigerant flow path of the first storage room is closed in the step (iv); and (vi) opening a refrigerant flow path of a second storage room to allow the refrigerant flowing to the first storage room to flow to the second storage room. |
