<p>A serial data communication line checking apparatus is provided to confirm whether a data line maintains a voltage level for enabling communication by measuring the voltage difference between individual communication lines, and measure a data communication bit interval through data sampling between the communication lines, thereby providing line characteristic information and fault information related with communication availability of the installed communication line. A serial data communication line checking apparatus comprises the followings: a communication line terminal(100); an analog circuit unit(620,630) which selects two lines among the communication line terminals, and outputs the differential voltage between the selected lines as a digital signal; an output unit(200) for displaying the differential voltage outputted from the analog circuit unit; a key input unit(400) for receiving information on kind of the communication line and a terminal number from a user; a central processing unit(300) for outputting a channel control signal for selecting two lines selected in the analog circuit according to input information of the key input unit; and a power unit(500).</p> |
