PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF BETA-CAROTENE EXTRACT

摘要

A process for the preparation of beta-carotene extract provides for multistage extraction with oil from preliminarily comminuted mycelia biomass up to particles size of 1- at ratio of biomass and oil 1:1.5-1:3, respectively, at temperature of 85 °С with preliminarily holding of biomass in oil at room temperature for 30-45 minutes. Thereafter mechanical mixing is carried out with rate of 250-500 revolutions per minute and filtration by vacuum suction through cloth filter. Belting of 2- in thickness with count of 800-1000 g/mis used as a filter. The process allows to optimize biomass extraction process technology, to increase beta-carotene yield in extract.
