<p>An uplink control channel structure in a mobile wideband wireless access system and a method allocating the same are provided to improve a ranging performance and a detection performance by removing an ICI(Inter-Carrier interference) and ISI(Inter-Symbol Interference) generated by a conventional method. An uplink control channel structure in a mobile wideband wireless access system includes a first long cyclic prefix(110), an effective symbol(120), a second long cyclic prefix(210), and an effective symbol(220). The first long cyclic prefix prevents interference distortion of an initial ranging signal or a hand-over ranging signal. The effective symbol is located next to the long cyclic prefix in a time and transmits the initial ranging signal or the hand-over ranging signal. The second long cyclic prefix is located next to the effective symbol in a time. The second long cyclic prefix prevents interference distortion of the initial ranging signal or the hand-over ranging signal and a cyclic ranging signal or a band request ranging signal. The effective symbol is located next to the second long cyclic prefix in a time. The effective symbol transmits the cyclic ranging signal or the band request ranging signal.</p> |
