SMART CARD AND METHOD FOR STORING POSSIBILITY INFORMATION OF VIDEO CALL OF MOBILE TERMINAL

A smart card for storing video call capability information and a method thereof are provided to revitalize video calls by providing a list of video call capability phone numbers in an environment where terminals capable of video calls and other terminals incapable of video calls exist together. A processor part in a smart card receives the phone number and video call capability information of the second mobile terminal from the first mobile terminal(S510). The processor part stores the video call capability information of the second mobile terminal in a memory part where the phone number of the second mobile terminal is stored(S520). If a request to confirm the phone number of the second mobile terminal is received from the first mobile terminal(S530), the processor part extracts the phone number and video call capability information of the second mobile terminal from the memory part. Then the processor part delivers the extracted phone number and video call capability information to the first mobile terminal(S540).
