A gas vortex type separator contains a vertical cylindrical housing, upper and are lower bottoms, inlet, outlet and drain branch pipes, a deflector with baffle plate, a separation packet with convex plates and slit channels, an intermediate bottom, a catching pocket, a drain tube, which is located in the catching pocket, a lower axial disk, fingers, L-shaped plates, a pocket-catcher, an upper axial disk, radial plates, radial clearance, bypass clearance, an upper storage chamber, a horizontal partition, cone-shaped guiding converging nozzle sections, upper radial clearances. The separator additionally contains, at least, one horizontal plate fixed without clearance on the internal wall of the separator housing in the area between the separation packet and the housing. One of the ends of the horizontal plate is located near the outlet from the deflector. The plate is made in the form of a part of ring. The width of the horizontal plate is greater than the width of the outlet from the deflector and it is smaller than the distance from the separation packet to the separator housing. |
