The invention relates to the railroad car building. A center-coupler draft gear contains a housing and a pressure plate, which interacts with a precompressed elastic element located in the housing with a clearance between its side walls. The elastic element is made of elastomer in the form of monolithic block, at ends of which the washers with flanges are fastened, which cover monolithic block along the perimeter. The technical result is in prevention of crack formation at the ends of the elastic element with increase of its power capacity.
