摘要 A control method for an ESP(Electronic Stability Program) device of a vehicle is provided to improve the increase rate of wheel pressure by circulating the brake fluid in advance by directly bypassing brake fluid of a master cylinder to a hydraulic pump before executing an ESP control operation. An ESP device of a vehicle comprises a master cylinder(MC), hydraulic pumps(HP1,HP2) and a motor(M) for pumping up and circulating brake fluid to each wheel cylinder, and valve units(SI1,SI2) installed at an auxiliary fluid pressure line(MFc) for directly bypassing the brake fluid of the master cylinder to the hydraulic pump. The ESP device regulates braking power for each wheel in controlling the stability of the vehicle. A control method for the ESP device opens the valve unit before starting an ESP control operation and drives the motor, if the ESP control operation is expected to be executed as a steering wheel is excessively operated in an instant.
