A structure for a connection port cover in an electronic device is provided to prevent the loss of a protection cover and maintain the frontal design of an electronic device by installing the protection cover at the back of a front panel and opening/closing a connection port in a sliding method. A structure for a connection port cover in an electronic device comprises a front panel(31), a protection cover(40), and a cover holder(50). The front panel(31) has a penetration hollow(34) to expose a connection port to the external. The protection cover(40), installed at the back of the front panel(31) so as to make a sliding motion, selectively shields the penetration hollow(34). The cover holder(50), arranged at the rear of the protection cover(40) and installed at the back of the front panel(31), has a connection port mounting hole corresponding to the penetration hollow(34). A mounting rib(53) which supports the back of the protection cover(40) is formed at the front side of the cover holder(50).
