Organosilane compounds having improved heat stability and electron transport properties and showing amorphous properties are provided to produce an organic electroluminescent device having high efficiency, low operation electric pressure and long operation lifetime. The organosilane compounds are represented by the formula(1), wherein n is an integer from 1 to 4, and m is an integer from 1 to 3; R is C6-C60 aryl group or arylene group, or C2-C60 heteroaryl group or heteroarylene group; Ar1 and Ar2 are divalent, and each independently C6-C60 aryl group or arylene group, or C2-C60 heteroaryl group or heteroarylene group; and HAr is represented by any one of the formula(2) to formula(5) which is optionally substituted by any one selected from halogen atom(fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine), nitro group, C1-C6 alkyl group, C1-C6 alkoxy group, C6-C20 aryl group, C3-C20 heteroaryl group containing nitrogen, cyano group and trifluoromethyl group. The organic electroluminescent device contains the organosilane compounds represented by the formula(1) in a plurality of organic compound layers containing a luminescent layer in the cathode, anode and between the cathode and anode.
