A composition comprising arazyme produced by Aranicola proteolyticus is provided to increase body weight, inhibit tumor cells and show the infiltration reduction when administered to a human lung cancer cell line transplanted mouse and decrease the expression amount of MMP-9, NF-kappaB and PCNA, thereby being usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating cancer. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating cancer comprises arazyme as an effective ingredient. In the composition, the arazyme is a polypeptide having an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID : NO. 1 and is isolated from a culture solution of Aranicola proteolyticus which is Aranicola proteolyticus HY-3(deposition no. KCTC 0268BP). Further, the cancer is lung cancer.
