A method and an apparatus for measuring a state of an object are provided to enable to repair a defective site at a remote place by measuring a state of the defective site using a mobile phone. An apparatus for measuring a state of an object includes a sounder(2), mobile phones(5a,5b), and a converter(3). The sounder converts a signal measured by a measuring unit into a frequency to be transmitted using the mobile phone. The mobile phones transmit and receive the signals from the sounder. The converter converts the frequency, which is received on a receiver mobile phone, into an analog or digital signal. The sounder and converters operate in multiple channels for plural signals to be transmitted and received simultaneously. The sounder is integrated with the converter.
