A polymer film producing method and an apparatus thereof are provided to obtain a film without defects generated by air, since an electrification of a support makes a tight contact with a bead on the support. A polymer film producing method comprises the steps of: discharging a dope containing a polymer, a solvent, and an additive from a casting die(33), and casting a bead of the dope on a support which moves continuously to form a casting film(12); drying the casting film peeled off from the support to obtain a polymer film(18); wherein a voltage apply device(36) in connection with the support applies voltage to the support during the casting step. The support is electrically non-grounded, with its surface coated with an electrical insulation film. A surface potential voltage of the support is in a range of 0.1 kV<V<3 kV. |
