A dynamic channel allocation method is provided to transmit a multimedia traffic in an IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 802.11e MAC(Media Access Control) HCCA by dynamically regulating a modulating speed in a physical layer. A negotiation is performed between an HC and a terminal to use an HCCA(Hybrid coordination function Controlled Channel Access) channel, and a TSPEC(Traffic SPECification) is formed(201). The TSPEC contains required QoS(Quality of Service) elements, a payload size, an interval between frames, a start time of a traffic, a data transmission amount, and a transmission delay. When the TSPEC is transmitted to the HC(203), the HC(Hybrid Channel) determines whether the required TSPEC is received(204), and the result is notified to a requesting terminal(206).
