The invention relates to medical and veterinary microbiology, in particular to a nutrient medium for isolating the tuberculosis pathogen. The nutrient medium contains the dry peptone, agar-agar, water and the dry adapted iron-supplemented milk mixture Nestogen. The invention also relates to Amethod for isolating the tuberculosis pathogen comprising the preparation of the medium, the preparation of the pathologic material, the seeding of the pathologic material onto the medium, and the culture. The pathologic material is treated with an antiseptic, namely aqueous solution of Glugicir and phenol at a 1:1 ratio and is additionaly exposed to the electromagnetic radiation at the frequency of 8 Hz and output of 50 W for 30-60 minutes. Then the material is incubated at the temperature of 36±1°С for 22-24 hours. The seeding suspension is used for inoculation of the nutrient medium. The invention allows to reduce the duration of incubation and accelerating the bacteriological diagnosis of tuberculosis. |
