PROCESS OF PRODUCING PERMANENT MAGNET AND PERMANENT MAGNET

A process of producing a permanent magnet and the permanent magnet are provided to manufacture the permanent magnet with a high magnetic characteristic at a low cost. A process of producing a permanent magnet includes the step of: injection-molding a preform to form the plate-shaped permanent magnet, wherein the preform is injection-molded in a manner that a size of a cross section of the preform is reduced in an X-direction and increased in a Y-direction perpendicular to the X-direction. The permanent magnet has a strain of epsi2/epsi1 according to the preform of 0.2~3.5. The epsi1 indicates deformation in an injection-molding direction of the preform and the epsi2/ indicates deformation in the Y-direction.
