BROADCASTING SERVICE RECORDING APPARATUS AND METHOD

An apparatus and a method for storing broadcasting services are provided to move or copy the broadcasting services to another storage device in case new broadcasting services can not be stored in a current storage due to the storage capacity limit. A broadcasting receiver(110) receives broadcasting signals including broadcasting services. A recording manager(130) controls storage of the broadcasting services. The recording manager performs a control operation so as to move or copy the stored broadcasting service to the other media storage volume. The recording manager manages recording information showing the media storage volume where the broadcasting service is stored.
