A portable terminal is provided to enable a user to watch on television stably at an optimum angle when a display part looks toward the outside and when the first housing and the second housing are folded. A portable terminal, which consists of the first housing(110) having a display part and the second housing(120) having an operation part, comprises the first connection part(131) and the second connection part(132). The first connection part(131), revolving round the first central axis as a center, connects the first housing(110) with the second housing(120) so as to be folded. The second connection part(132), arranged where the second central axis is a little shifted from an approximate center of the first housing, connects the first housing(110) so as to be rotated between the first position and the second position with the second central axis, orthogonal to the first central axis, in the center. When the first and second housings(110,120) are folded through the first connection part(131) in a state that the first housing(110) is rotated to the first position through the second connection part(132), the two housings(110,120) are approximately superposed. When the first and second housings(110,120) are folded through the first connection part(131) in a state that the first housing(110) is rotated to the second position through the second connection part(132), the two housings(110,120) are superposed on the bias.
