FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: tubular membrane element includes porous framework. Semi-permeable membrane is deposited on the inner side of framework. Turbulised element is installed inside membrane and fixed to end covers. Turbulised element is a cylinder with swirl plates in the form of circular tapered projections with cone angle 45/46°, variable outer diameter and grooves with rounded bottom between them. Surface describing outer diameter of swirl plates is tapered. Availability of convergent channel for separated solution flow ensures equal intensity of mass transfer along the whole length of membrane element. ^ EFFECT: simplification of design and increase of membrane separation output. ^ 3 dwg
