METHOD FOR FEED BACK INFORMATION CONCERNING PRE-CODING AND METHOD FOR PRE-CODING

A pre-coding information feedback method and a pre-coding method are provided to improve processing speed of a terminal by searching a smaller number of indexes, while more flexible designs are available according to channel situations when being applied to a multi-user MIMO(Multi Input Multi Output) technique and efficient transmission beamforming functions are available as many as the number of virtual antennas when being applied to a beamforming technique. Feedback information is received wherein the feedback information determines a pre-coding vector consisting of column vectors included in more than one of a basic matrix and an expanded matrix which conducts phase shift in the basic matrix. A pre-coding process is carried out by using the pre-coding vector determined according to the feedback information. The basic matrix includes more than one of a DFT(Discrete Fourier Transform) matrix and an antenna selection matrix.
