摘要 An apparatus and a method for high-speed shared control channel communication in a WCDMA communication system are provided to transmit the channel environment of a terminal to a network in real time by making a channel information TTI short in environment in which a change of the channel environment is fast and making the channel information TTI long when the change of the channel environment is slow, thereby reducing the unnecessary transmission of uplink control information. A receiver for a mobile communication terminal in a WCDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) communication system comprises a communication module, a speed measurer(518) and a decoder(522). The communication module processes a signal received from an antenna. The speed measurer measures the channel change speed of a downlink in the signal provided by the communication module to determine a TTI for transmitting channel quality information which is transmitted in a short TTI(Transmission Time Interval) when a change of a channel environment is fast and which is transmitted in a long TTI when a change of the channel environment is slow. The decoder analyzes the signal provided by the communication module to provide the analyzed result to an upper layer.
