An apparatus for drying flat panel displays quickly is provided to save energy for drying glass substrates and to improve efficiency of drying by applying heat directly to the flat panel displays. An apparatus for drying flat panel displays includes a feeder(100) for supplying glass substrates of flat panel displays to a chamber, an oven(200) consisting of at least one chamber for drying flat panel displays supplied by the feeder with more than two heaters including at least one infrared heater(220) and at least one near infrared heater(230) installed in the chamber to apply heat directly to a glass substrate supplied to the chamber, an exit section(300) where a dried glass substrate is discharged from the chamber, and a conveyor(400) to transfer a glass substrate to the chamber and to remove dried glass substrate from the chamber to the exit section.
