A device (1) for reversing tubular articles (60), particularly for circular knitting machines provided with a station for closing an axial end of the tubular article. The device comprises a reversing tube (2) which has a vertical axis (2a) and can be inserted with its upper end through a dial (50) from which the article (60) to be reversed hangs, by means of an axial end, so as to evert at least partially the tubular article (60) onto the outer lateral surface of the reversing tube (2) starting from the upper end of the reversing tube. Auxiliary means (3) are arranged along the path of motion of the reversing tube (2), above the dial (50), and can engage the article (60), which is partially everted onto the lateral surface of the reversing tube (2), and can be actuated to complete the eversion of the article (60) onto the reversing tube (2). The device comprises expulsion means which act on the article (60) to perform its introflection inside the reversing tube (2), inserting its axial end, disengaged from the dial (50), in the lower end of the reversing tube (2). Means are provided for positioning the reversing tube (2) in an expulsion position, in which it is arranged so that its lower end lies proximate to the auxiliary means (3), which can be actuated to entrain the article (60) which is everted on the outer lateral surface of the reversing tube (2) toward its lower end in order to assist the action of the expulsion means. |
